*Her face lights up when you tell her. She’s absolutely enthralled at how you could love tickling so much.

*After you explain, she gives you a hug with some side squeezes. She reassured you you’re not weird or strange. You’re in fact incredibly cute and endearing. One would even say absolutely adorable. Cue you blushing and her laughing at how you react.

*Her and Keeley will tease you together. Definitely while you’re in between them on the couch while giving you playful pokes.

*They don’t tease you like that in public though unless you’re comfortable with it.

*She gives you cheer up tickles 💖

*You’ve poked her a couple of times and even managed a side squeeze, but that’s all you could do before she completely flips the tables.

*Her nails are a devious weapon of mass destruction and definitely wiggles her fingers at you if you’re distracted.

*Her and Keeley are both very cuddly with their friends and she’ll give you gentle tickles if you’re sleepy or need to relax after a hard day.

*Her and Ted have had conversations about you and how they can make sure you’re never uncomfortable. They don’t intend to talk about you behind your back, but they’re just looking out for you and find your little interest, well… interesting!

*If you have a blog, she’d ask to see if only if you’re comfortable with showing her. If not she completely understands. If yes, she will go on about the cute designs and amount of followers you have.

*She managed to find some posts about wanting certain types of tickles. She now has that info in the back of her mind for later.

Jamie Tart~

*Man has had so much character development and I love him so much now. 💖

*My guy literally just goes, “Wait… you too?!”

*You two then bond over how you both love tickling. Of course that means lots of tickle fights.

*I can see him still being super shy about wanting to have tickle fights with you even though he knows you feel the same way. My poor touch starved boy.

*Keeley totally spills his ticklish spots to you. He loves hates that-

*Keeley loves how phrases like “tickled pink” and stuff gets to the both of you.

*Jamie and you have teamed up to get her back before. Let’s just say she got you both back tenfold.

*Jamie and you made signals for ler and lee moods, but you both would get too nervous to use them. Eventually you both learned each others signs for both.

*You can read each other really well. Not just with tickle moods, with emotions in general.

*Both of you have lots of trust and understanding in each other. A big part of it stemmed from revealing your love of tickling.

Coach Beard~

*Somehow already knew-

*He just knows. Don’t question it.

*He definitely sees the reason for you liking it. Even admitting him and his wife have tried certain things when it comes to tickling.

*He actually thinks it’s weirder for someone not to like it.

*Sneak attacks Ted with pokes all the time and invites you to play along. That doesn’t mean he won’t do the same to you though. Especially in front of the team.

*He is incredibly good at reading people. He always knows when you’re in a lee or ler mood.

*Even knows when you’re in a switch mood! He’s that good-

*Him and Ted have had conversations in front of you on how to get better reactions and which spots are the most ticklish.

*If you thought you couldn’t get anymore flustered my gosh-

*Somehow his pokes and tases are more ticklish than anyone else’s.

*Is more blunt with teases, but it always feels really sincere.

*Asks you for tickle fanfiction. I feel like he’d genuinely enjoy reading some of it.

*You’ve tried tickling him before. It didn’t last long.

*You can get maybe a poke in if he’s distracted, but he’s very good at not being snuck up on.

*He’s also so quick to turn it onto you.

Trent Crimm~

*A big sweetheart. And so so supportive.

*He’s also really curious.

*Asking questions as if he were about to another book about your love for it.

*Admits that he had a soft spot for it himself.

*Is actually really sensitive and it’s so adorable-

*He doesn’t retaliate all that much when you poke him or squeeze his side.

*He’s more of a lee than a ler.

*That doesn’t mean he won’t take the opportunity to scribble at your neck or squeeze your knee.

*He likes to give you head scratches and give you little sneaky ear and neck tickles.

*Comments on how easy you blush as if he doesn’t blush just as easily when you tease him.

*Always makes sure you’re okay with being full on tickled before he gets you.

*Surprisingly very skilled tickler.

*His fingers know just how to wiggle their way into your ribs.

*Speaking of which, he’s a sucker for counting your ribs out loud to you. And of course he “messes up” along the way and has to start over.

*Is more gentle with his tickles, which tickles a lot more in his opinion because of the anticipation of it all.

*Which also means he’s more susceptible to gentle and light tickles.

*They make him all scrunchy and tingly and it’s so cute. If you call him cute be ready for him to cover his face with one hand.

Lee!Ted

Because of Ted's people-pleasing mentality, we all know he wants everyone around him as happy as possible at all times.

That means he can totally ler it up, but because I am so deeply in love with Jason Sudeikis and Ted Lasso equally.... I can't not let my cute man be on the receiving end of some tickles.

I can see Ted being all 'awwwhawhaw! you got me!' after he's jogged around with someone chasing him, letting them get close enough to actually get him, obv.

Ted isn't quite sure how to handle getting tickled for real, honestly.

He's been jostled and huddled and hugged so much in his life, what with his duties as a coach and having a close team around him at all times. And it always makes him smile and chuckle.

But getting tickled definitely takes some getting used to for him. And like anything new for Ted (minus the start of therapy, I suppose), he welcomes the experience with open arms and a willingness to try it out.

He's really jumpy at the start of it, when someone would give him pokes/jabs/quick wiggling fingers somewhere sensitive. But it always illicits a giggle.

I imagine Ted being really open to letting Rebecca try this out on him, what with the amazing close friendship they've developed.

And she's so teasy and so delicate with him that it drives him NUTS.

Literally Ted can melt into a puddle of whines and wheezes and giggles with ler!Rebecca coming after him.

He's a big safe word guy, even if it's literally 30 seconds of casual, playful tickling. Similar to the 'Oklahoma' safe word used in the show, I'm sure this one would be another state or perhaps a town in England to even up the playing field. Or honestly something utterly silly like a player's name (Bumbercatch! Tartt!).

Rebecca cracks up when her and Ted have gotten to the point where he'll just start yelling random words through his laughter to get her to ease up. And she always does. He chooses a new word every time a tickle attack happens and just repeats it over and over again. Rebecca knows all of Ted's signs by now so she knows when not to overstep.

Ted slowly finds some comfort in getting tickled. It sends shivers up his spine when he gets the itch for it, or when he knows it's heading his way.

Ler!Ted

Ted definitely has an easier time falling into the ler role.

He loves when he sees tickling used as a form of bonding between the players. It doesn't fluster him unless the tickling's aimed his way (sorry sorry I'll stop with lee!ted 😉).

He's playful and loving as all hell with his son so of course he's thrown tickles in there when Henry was younger.

Getting out of the in-character canonness of the show, and moving to the general xoc or xreader side of tickling, I have a few thoughts...

If Ted finds out you're ticklish, it'll be like you'd given him his Christmas gift early.

But he'll take things slow, again, not having tickling being a recurring part of his own personal life.

His first step would be to get more cuddly with you, more than he's ever been before. Like a warm up to prepare for what's coming.

He'll pepper in ticklish kisses in sensitive spots like the neck, collarbones, the inside of the wrist/palm of hand, on/behind the ear.

And from there depending on the mood he finds himself in, he'd either deliver the most loving ticklish gestures and kisses OR he'd be evil-ler-dad-mode and attack with tickles.

You bet your ass Ted uses his bristly mustache to his advantage and your demise. That poor belly...

Like Rebecca does with him, Ted absolutely respects any boundaries when it comes to tickling.

But he'll be a teaser while it's happening, of course. Saying his typical funny, naive, simple Ted things. I am clearly not up to par with the Ted Lasso writing staff, so I cannot come up with much of anything good he'd be saying. But you get the idea.

"Ooohwee I didn't know this was such a good spot!" "You've been holding out on me." "Geez! With all that kicking you're doing, I could put you to good use at Richmond!" "Who knew tickling someone could be so damn fun?"

Your first kiss with Ted was soft, and sweet. You could sense he was a bit nervous, but all his nerves fell away as soon as he felt you wrap your arms around him. He pulled you close to him, and kissed you back passionately. You could feel his mustache tickle just under your nose a bit. You pulled away with a smile on your face. His eyes were still closed, but his smile mirrored yours.

After he’s kissed you once, it’s hard to keep him off of you. He’s constantly trying to steal kisses from you on the daily, regardless of where you are. Roy’s even caught you with Ted’s tongue in your mouth in the boot room, and threatened to call HR about it.

Sometimes you’re at Ted’s apartment, sitting between his legs, your back on his chest, just reading a book, and he’s being very distracting, placing kisses along your neck.

When Ted feels like his anxiety is starting to become too much, you’re the one to kiss him. He feels grounded when you press your lips to his. A few tears fall down his cheeks and onto yours. You wipe them away, and sit there with him, letting him talk if he wants, or just holding him if he thinks that will help.

When he’s excited after winning a match, he sweeps you up and kisses you. It’s a harder kiss, a clash of teeth and tongues, but still filled with love.

*He would also tell you it’s not weird to like it. Lots of people do and you just happen to be someone who tends to like it more than others. 

*Ted would ask about boundaries, all the words associated with it like lee and ler, and even ask about lee and ler moods.

*After learning everything, you two hugged and he’d give you a quick side squeeze.

*From then on, he’s a go to person when talking about this subject. It doesn’t bother him at all and he’s also the type of guy who playful pokes his friends and teammates. So he tends to do that to you way more after the conversation.

*I can see him saying, “Are you in one of those moody things? Yeah? If you want you can come to my office later and we can chat or I can tickle all the blues away.”

*Said she understands where you’re coming from and talks about how her and Roy have tickle fights all the time.

“Yes. The Roy Kent is ticklish. It’s really adorable.” 

*She will talk to you about his worst spots. If she notices you blushing about certain spots she’ll ask why to make you squirm in your seat.

*She loooooooves teasing you. It’s practically her job as one of your best friends. She gets Sassy to join in as well when you’re comfortable enough to tell her.

*One of her favorite things is to wiggle her fingers at you to make you blush. Air tickles are her favorite way to make you giggle before she actually starts tickling you.

“But I’m not even touching you what’s so funny?”

*Whenever your two hang out, there’s always at least a poke to the neck to watch you scrunch up. If not a full on tickle fight.

*You ended up telling both him and Keeley about it. Now whenever the three of you hang out, the two of them are nonstop teasing and tickling you.

*Swears a lot when he’s teasing you. But is always sweet about it because he knows how embarrassed you can get about it.

“Did you just fucking snort?”

“What the fuck was that noise? If I tickle here will you do it again?”

*Will ask Keeley if you’re in a lee mood when he can’t read you. She’s his go to about this kind of touchy feely stuff.

*You’re one of the few people he hugs. You’re the only person besides Keeley that gets side squeezes while hugging you.

*Sometimes he won’t stop and continues doing so till you let go while he’s still holding on.

*You have a blast teasing and tickling him. He doesn’t love it as much as you do but he enjoys it and sees it as a fun way to make someone laugh.

*Gentle and playful tickles fights if the other person is down about a game or life.

*Can’t say the word tickle to save his life but will tease you about how adorable your laughter is.

*Okay but fun sleepovers with Sam and some of the other guys and they all team up to tickle you.
